Summary
At lakeside settlements in Northern Alps where exceptional preservation conditions have allowed the survival of organic material that usually perishes, numerous Neolithic stone tools have been recovered still preserved in their hafts. This research project focuses on the functional study of these exceptional fully preserved hafted tools by means of use-wear analysis.
